RHINE FALLS

Where is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe? Between the cantons of Schaffhausen and Zurich. The Rhine Falls (Rheinfall) are 150 meters wide and 23 high. They are so majestic that they attract thousands of tourists from all over the world every year! They can be enjoyed from above on panoramic terraces or from very close by by boat.

A WINE-GROWING CANTON

The Klettgau region is wine-growing: grapes are grown there to make wine. It is even one of the main German producer cantons! Every year, the vines flowering festival in June and the harvest festivals bring together many spectators. The most famous take place in Hallau. Decorated floats, costumed groups and musicians parade through the streets!
